Currently, Groot Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Beverage Professional who is passionate about wine, spirits, and superior guest service. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who value the art of hospitality and who wish to contribute their expertise in wine and sake program development within a supportive and growth-oriented environment. The role involves managing the wine and sake programs, overseeing cost and inventory controls, purchasing beverages, and maintaining accurate inventory lists. The Beverage Professional will also engage in on-floor sales, building relationships with guests to ensure personalized and memorable service. Staff education is a key component of the role, requiring the Beverage Professional to share knowledge about wines and spirits with team members to elevate the overall guest experience. Candidates for this position should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural workplace and be committed to upholding all health code and federal/state liquor regulations. Working nights, weekends, and holidays is an essential aspect of this role, given the nature of the hospitality industry. Staff members in this position report directly to the General Manager and Director of Operations.
