Thunderdome Restaurant Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing restaurant company that proudly operates nine diverse dining concepts: Bakersfield, The Eagle, Krueger's Tavern, SoHi, Maplewood, Pepp & Dolores, The Davidson, City Bird, and Currito. Each of these establishments offers unique culinary experiences and atmospheres, catering to a broad array of diners. The company has built its reputation on a passionate commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and a supportive culture that values loyalty and curiosity. At the heart of Thunderdome’s operations are its core values that drive every decision and action: Make a Memory, Add Value, Be Transparent, Persevere, and Throw the Party. These principles ensure that every team member contributes to creating exceptional dining experiences and fostering an environment that is both enjoyable and enriching for employees and guests alike.
The role we are currently offering is for Utility Team Members, an essential position within the operational backbone of our kitchens. These team members are tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization in accordance with Thunderdome’s high standards. The Utility Team Member position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the restaurant industry and eager to grow with Thunderdome’s expanding family of restaurants. This role demands physical stamina and dexterity; employees must be comfortable with continuous movement throughout their shifts, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying items, and handling weights up to 50 pounds. The role also requires good auditory and visual skills, alongside the capacity to follow both written and verbal instructions precisely.
This role is critical in ensuring that the kitchens run smoothly and efficiently. Utility Team Members set up and stock all necessary items, ensure that all smallwares and storage containers are properly washed and organized, and preserve high standards of safety, sanitation, and health compliance. Beyond technical responsibilities, this position emphasizes maintaining a positive and cooperative team environment, as teamwork and communication are essential for the success of the busy kitchen. The company values team members who not only meet the job requirements but are also driven by growth, professional challenge, and a desire to contribute actively to the company’s vision.
Thunderdome Restaurant Group supports the personal and professional growth of its employees by offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Full-time team members become eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance within 90 days of employment, which underscores the company’s commitment to employee well-being. Additionally, paid time off and 401(k) plans become available after completing one year of service, providing financial security and work-life balance.
