The role being offered is a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker position within the NORTHGATE SCHOOL DISTRICT, working under Sodexo's management. This position offers a varied shift schedule with open availability preferred, including different days and hours, which will be clarified during the interview process. The pay range for this role is competitive, between $7.25 per hour and $23.44 per hour, depending on experience and other factors. As a Cashier/Food Service Worker, you will be the welcoming face of the food service operation and play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience by operating the cash register efficiently and processing transactions with a customer-first mindset. Beyond cash handling, you will assist in food setup, serving from counters and steam tables, support retail operations by maintaining supplies and products, and assist with cleanup and closedown procedures. This position requires someone who is dependable and punctual, as regular attendance and timely presence for scheduled shifts are essential. You will also be expected to adapt to various duties that may differ slightly depending on the specific account or client needs.
