The role of Restaurant Manager at QDOBA involves managing the overall operations of a Qdoba restaurant location. This leadership position requires using discretion in daily management decisions and accountability for upholding the brand values to help the restaurant thrive in a competitive marketplace. The successful manager will focus on developing a culture that puts people and guests first, consistently delivering excellent guest service and high-quality food. The manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements including labor and health safety laws. This role entails responsibility for employee training, development, and performance evaluation, ensuring that systems for onboarding and continuous coaching are implemented fully. The manager must oversee operational aspects including sales growth, catering efforts, food safety compliance, food and labor costs, and inventory management. They are expected to lead by example in customer service, responding to guest questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly to ensure positive resolution. Additionally, the manager is tasked with maintaining safe working conditions and fostering an environment where employees are encouraged to grow with the company to reduce turnover. The Restaurant Manager will also partner with the leadership team to set and meet sales goals, focusing on long-term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable results.
