Hotel Indigo is currently seeking dedicated Overnight Valet Drivers to join its team. The Overnight Valet Driver position is essential to the hotel’s operations, responsible for shuttling guest vehicles to and from the hotel to a secured parking garage during overnight hours. This role works the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am with the possibility of fixed day schedules. Candidates must possess a clean driving record and will undergo a background check as part of the hiring process. The position demands a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and attention to safety and customer service. Valet drivers are the first and last point of contact for guests regarding their vehicles, making this position crucial in delivering a positive impression of the hotel. In this role, Overnight Valet Drivers are expected to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism while maintaining a positive and upbeat personality. They must display excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills to effectively assist guests and handle any concerns professionally. Strong communication abilities are also essential to convey information clearly and politely. In addition to operating the shuttle safely within state and federal regulations, valet drivers are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle to maintain a welcoming environment for guests. The role also involves maintaining valet records accurately and managing key control and security of all vehicles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of safety practices including compliance with OSHA, state, and federal guidelines related to fire, health, chemical, and overall safety standards. Recognizing potential safety hazards and taking immediate action to prevent damage or injury is a vital part of the job.
