The ideal candidate will have experience working in a coffee shop or restaurant setting and take pride in maintaining excellent standards in both product quality and customer interactions.\n\nAs the line crew member, you will be preparing and directing the preparation of food and beverages, ensuring all sanitation, health, and hygiene standards are upheld. This includes managing the coffee bar area and service/display stations keeping them clean, organized, and fully stocked. You will greet and engage customers by introducing them to the menu, taking orders accurately with attention to every detail such as preferred coffee blends and customizations, and preparing beverages in accordance with established recipes. Maintaining personal health and sanitation standards will be essential to creating a safe and welcoming environment.\n\nAs a shift lead, your leadership skills will come into play guiding your team with a positive attitude and serving as a role model of excellent service. Your responsibilities will include training new staff on standard procedures and operational rules, helping to develop the training curriculum, and enforcing café policies to promote success. Inventory management is a vital part of this role, where you will keep track of stock levels of ingredients and service items, assign tasks effectively, and communicate closely with staff to ensure everything runs smoothly each shift.\n\nIn this role, you will also act as an intermediary with management by handling customer concerns promptly and professionally. Keeping the dining area tidy, bussing tables, tending to customer needs, and ensuring customer feedback is communicated to management are all part of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
