Service Porters assist in preparing vehicles for delivery by performing tasks such as removing protective coverings, inspecting for damages or stains, and cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles. They ensure all vehicles leaving the service department are in pristine condition and ready for customers. In addition to vehicle preparation, Service Porters regularly move and organize vehicles on the lot to meet dealership standards and display requirements. They are responsible for handling keys, transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed, performing deliveries, and picking up parts from the parts department. The role requires operating and safely handling various machinery, including driving manual transmission vehicles, and performing basic checks like testing vehicle batteries. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Six to twelve months of previous work experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
