The Service Porter role at AutoNation is a vital position responsible for maintaining and servicing vehicles within the dealership environment. This full-time role demands a high level of attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to handle various duties related to vehicle care and transport. The Service Porter is instrumental in supporting the dealership’s smooth daily operations by assisting with service write-ups, inspecting vehicles for damages or cleanliness before returning them to customers, and ensuring the vehicle lot is organized according to display standards. In addition to vehicle maintenance tasks, this role includes transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed, performing deliveries, and assisting with shop clean-up. The Service Porter must possess strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles and other machinery.
