The Service Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market plays a crucial leadership role focused on overall customer satisfaction and team motivation. The Service Manager inspires and leads a team committed to superior service in a fast-paced, welcoming environment. In this role, the manager oversees front-end operations and assumes full store management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Their tasks include driving store sales, recruiting, engaging, and retaining team members, and fostering a positive work culture that prioritizes customers and team member satisfaction. The Service Manager proactively handles scheduling, training, and development of team members while helping the store reach its goals related to sales, labor management, margins, and shrink. 
This multifaceted role requires strong leadership to drive front-end operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain high standards across all customer service areas. The position involves direct oversight of cashiers, courtesy clerks, administrative staff, and in-store shoppers, emphasizing efficient and effective store operations. Additionally, the Service Manager addresses customer concerns, manages team conflicts thoughtfully, and facilitates continuous career development for staff members. By championing customer feedback initiatives and maintaining excellent product knowledge, the Service Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences and building customer loyalty.                 - Be at least 21 years of age
 - have a high school diploma or equivalent
 - prefer degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising or related field
 - demonstrate leadership experience managing store operations including profit and loss, safety, sanitation, staffing, disciplinary actions, training, leader development, performance appraisals, inventory and shrink control, sales promotion execution, and merchandising
 - have professional written and verbal communication skills
 - attention to detail and analytical thinking
 - proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software
 - flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
 - ability to lift 60 pounds between 15 and 70 inches occasionally heavier weights
 - ability to push and pull racks weighing between 80 and 100 pounds
 - ability to stand on hard surfaces continuously, walk up to 2 miles, reach vertically and transfer items horizontally
 - ability to wear PPE including non-slip closed-toe shoes, long pants, and gloves
 - experience using tools and equipment such as phone, computer, ovens, freezers, cutters, scales, mixers, box cutters, scanners, cash register, carts, and pallet jacks
