About the role: The Server position at Grand Living is a vital role within the dining service team, focused on elevating the dining experience for senior residents, their families, and guests. The role involves facilitating culinary services across various dining venues within the community, including the Bistro, Casual Dining areas, Formal Dining settings, Luminations® memory care dining, and the Club Room. Servers also play a key role during special events and private functions, ensuring that all dining experiences reflect the high standards and professionalism associated with The Sterling Touch® service philosophy. This role requires delivering courteous, friendly, timely, and helpful service that directly impacts resident satisfaction and overall community atmosphere. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor, Servers are expected to adhere to Grand Living’s rigorous standards, processes, procedures, and practices, contributing to a seamless dining operation that aligns with the community’s goals. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of serving experience preferred
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen utensils and equipment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull continuously
• Ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
