The role of Server for the 2026 cruising season offers a unique opportunity to join an exceptional team onboard one of American Cruise Lines' sophisticated ships. This 28-week temporary position challenges candidates to provide outstanding hospitality by delivering elegant and memorable dining experiences to guests. Servers will be responsible for setting up and breaking down meal services including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hours while ensuring that every table is perfectly arranged with linen, silverware, china, and glassware. The Server plays a crucial role as an ambassador of the brand by catering to culinary requests efficiently, acknowledging guests personally, presenting menus, recommending courses and wine pairings, and answering any questions about menu items. Communication between the dining room and the galley is key, as Servers promptly relay orders and ensure that all courses and beverages are served with care and garnished to high standards. Beyond standard restaurant duties, Servers may be asked to greet guests at embarkation, serve afternoon teas and snacks, and support evening entertainment functions. 
Compensation for Servers ranges from $1,000 to $1,400 per week complemented by additional bonuses. Since all major living expenses are covered aboard the ship, employees have an exceptional opportunity to save a significant portion of their earnings.
