The Patina Group is currently looking for dedicated full-time and part-time Servers to join their team at the Diamond Room in San Diego, California. Server responsibilities include presenting, serving, and clearing courses with precision, responsibly serving alcoholic beverages following company policies, and efficiently managing orders and payments through a point-of-sale system. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Beyond direct guest interactions, Servers contribute to the overall operations by performing necessary opening and closing duties, assisting with cleaning and organizing workspaces, and ensuring all equipment is functional and sanitary. This is a tipped position with an hourly wage starting at $17.25 excluding potential earned tips. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality, familiarity with cash handling and credit card processing, and experience using reservation systems like OpenTable. Wine knowledge or certifications such as sommelier qualifications are preferred to enrich the guest experience. Physical requirements demand the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and the stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, often including stairs, as well as the sensory ability to take accurate orders and handle payments.
