The role of Floating General Manager at InTown Suites is a pivotal leadership position designed to ensure seamless hotel management and operational stability across multiple properties within a designated market. This is a unique opportunity that involves temporarily overseeing the day-to-day functions of individual hotel properties whenever the regular General Manager is unavailable due to vacation, off days, or other absences. Additionally, the Floating General Manager will undertake various short-term assignments as directed by the Regional Operations Manager, which might include local marketing initiatives, staff training programs, and quality assurance projects aimed at elevating hotel standards. This position demands a versatile leader capable of swiftly adapting to different property environments and operational challenges. The Floating General Manager will be responsible for maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring excellent service delivery and adherence to company standards. Key responsibilities include managing front office operations, coordinating maintenance and safety protocols, driving sales through marketing efforts, and controlling costs to meet budgetary goals. This role requires extensive travel within the assigned market, including overnight stays, as the manager supports multiple hotel locations. Ideal candidates will possess strong management and supervisory experience, particularly in the hospitality or hotel industry, along with a thorough understanding of front desk operations and guest services. Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and financial acumen are critical to success in this role. The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and promote team development across properties is also essential.
