With a strong focus on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and continuous innovation, SGC has established itself as a leading name in the hospitality and gaming industry. The company prides itself on a commitment to quality, community engagement, and sustainable growth, making it an attractive employer for professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. SGC operates multiple properties that integrate hotel accommodations, entertainment, retail, and leisure activities, creating comprehensive resort experiences that cater to a variety of guest preferences and needs. The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Resorts at SGC plays a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the corporation's hospitality operational strategy. This position requires a visionary leader who can develop multi-year and annual strategic plans tailored to the unique needs of SGC's properties, ensuring alignments with the overall corporate vision and mission. This executive role demands collaboration across departments to enhance profitability while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and fostering a positive workplace culture — coined as the "Best 8 hours" culture for team members. The SVP is also charged with leading revenue management initiatives to optimize pricing strategies, packages, and promotional campaigns that boost resort revenues. Working closely with the corporate marketing team, the SVP helps craft strategic marketing plans that elevate the market position of the resorts. Maintaining the value and quality of properties through preventive and corrective maintenance programs is another crucial aspect of the role, alongside managing the pre-opening and stabilization phases of new retail outlets and hotel properties. The SVP is instrumental in driving continuous improvement and a culture of high performance within the resort operations, ensuring service sequences deliver consistent excellence. Furthermore, the SVP is involved in identifying investment and development opportunities, contributing to SGC’s growth agenda. They also oversee the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and compliance controls that meet all regulatory requirements, including those related to health, safety, security, employment legislation, and financial reporting. Training programs are established under the SVP’s leadership to ensure standardized application of operating procedures across all resort functions. This position is a demanding yet rewarding leadership opportunity, requiring availability for 24/7 operations and flexibility to work extended hours. The SVP must also act as a mentor and coach, developing future senior management talent, particularly emphasizing the recruitment and growth of enrolled Seneca Nation members. This role embodies the mission, vision, and core values of SGC, setting the standard for guest service and professional conduct at all levels. The starting salary for the Senior Vice President of Resorts at SGC is negotiable based on experience and education, reflecting the seniority and responsibility level of the role.
