The Senior Sous Chef role at Lavish Roots is a full-time position based in Bellevue, WA, offering a competitive salary ranging from $75,190 to $90,640 annually, depending on experience, skills, and education. This role involves taking charge of culinary operations by overseeing daily kitchen functions and inspiring the culinary team towards excellence. The Senior Sous Chef is a critical leadership position that requires a balance of hands-on cooking skills and strategic thinking. Primary responsibilities include ensuring flavor consistency, quality presentation across all menus, collaborating closely with both back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) teams to deliver a seamless guest experience, and maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

                - Valid King County Food Handler Permit
 - Valid ServSafe Manager Certificate
 - Completion of Learn, Legal, and Privacy courses required by company
 - Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters, and/or regular COVID-19 testing as required
 - Ability to perform heavy lifting (10-40 lbs)
 - Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
 - Capable of working 10+ hour shifts and extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking
 - Possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to safely operate kitchen equipment
 - Able to work in fast-paced, high noise level kitchen environment with exposure to cleaning solutions and varying temperatures
