Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving group sales revenue by targeting three primary markets: corporate clients, leisure travelers, and event organizers. This role requires a dynamic individual who possesses deep knowledge and experience in hospitality sales, particularly within luxury hospitality environments. The Senior Sales Manager will actively develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure a consistent sales pipeline. In this role, key responsibilities include creating and presenting customized proposals tailored to client needs, negotiating group sales agreements with a focus on profitability and alignment with the resort’s revenue goals, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams such as catering, events, and operations to guarantee flawless event execution. The manager will represent the resort at various industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster new partnerships. The position demands proactive market research to monitor competitor activities and identify growth opportunities, which is vital for implementing strategic sales plans that maximize revenue. A significant part of the Senior Sales Manager’s duties involves maintaining accurate client information in the CRM system and providing regular sales performance reports to leadership.
