The University of Texas at Tyler, in partnership with Sodexo, offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Food Supervisor to join their food operations team. This full-time position commands a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.50 to $26.05 and entails varied shifts with open availability preferred to meet the dynamic demands of the campus environment. As a Senior Food Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of food service activities across a variety of settings, including fast casual dining, coffee stations, cafeterias, events, banquets, casual dining venues, and cafes.
This role requires a multitasking professional who can provide on-site leadership and coordination for service employees, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include supporting management in overseeing daily functions, facilitating employee orientation and training, ensuring a safe working environment, and actively resolving any customer issues related to quality or service. Attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts are also fundamental expectations. Additional duties may be assigned to address specific client needs or business priorities.
The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, reliable individual with at least two years of relevant work experience, preferably including supervisory responsibilities.
