The role of a Security Agent at ACTS-Aviation Security, based at LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California, involves vital responsibilities aimed at maintaining and enhancing aviation security. Employees in this position perform tasks such as inspecting airline equipment and screening cargo according to customer specifications, monitoring aircraft and passengers to ensure compliance with security protocols, and guarding gates as required. Security Agents also play a critical role in observing the environment around the unit and facility to detect any suspicious activities when not involved in direct inspection or validation duties. This position reports to an Operations Supervisor or Manager and works under the guidance of a Lead or Senior Lead depending on the size of the unit.
