The role of Seasonal Event Server at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this legacy. This position is seasonal, primarily covering the bustling high-volume holiday period from October through January. It is designed to support the Bistro's operations by delivering exceptional service during private events and special occasions. The Seasonal Event Server’s core responsibility is to ensure that guests have memorable dining experiences, starting from meticulous event preparation to attentive service throughout the event. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual capable of handling banquet setups, serving food and beverages promptly, communicating effectively with team members and guests, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. Given that this position is seasonal, those interested have the option to apply for regular part-time positions that may arise during the same period, indicating the potential for ongoing employment and growth within the company. Compensation for this role is set at $20 per hour, and the position is tip-eligible, allowing employees to benefit directly from excellent service.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training in a service-oriented business
  • At least 1 year of experience as an event server or similar
  • Experience with Ctuit, GoTab, or Open Table desirable
  • Possession of a current San Diego County Food Handlers card
  • Must have current RBS training certificate
  • Certified Beer Server preferred
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel
  • Ability to work seasonally from October through January
