Senior Lifestyle is a reputable and caring company dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors by providing high-quality living communities with a strong focus on hospitality, excellence, appreciation, respect, and teamwork. Senior Lifestyle has earned a strong reputation for fostering compassionate environments that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of residents, guests, and staff alike. As a well-established provider in the senior living industry, the company thrives on a compassionate approach that aligns with its core values summarized by its HEART promise: Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect, and Teamwork. These guiding principles influence every aspect of their business and care practices, ensuring that each community feels like home to its residents and their families. Recognizing the importance of first impressions, Senior Lifestyle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team in the role of Community Greeter and Assistant. This position is essential in maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere at their senior living communities by providing assistance to residents, guests, and vendors with professionalism and kindness. The role demands a blend of interpersonal skills and administrative capabilities to effectively manage daily interactions and safety protocols within the community. The Community Greeter and Assistant will act as the face of the community, greeting residents and visitors, responding promptly to inquiries via telephone, and offering general assistance to prospective residents and their families during visits. Safety and security are also key components of the role, as responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems, door alarms, life safety equipment, and building alarms to ensure the well-being of residents and the protection of property. The candidate will be tasked with investigating any unusual activities and promptly reporting or escalating concerns to appropriate personnel. In addition to front-facing tasks, the role entails various administrative duties such as processing reports for work orders, incidents, and community concerns. The assistant will also handle logistics related to receiving packages, prescription drugs, plants, and other deliveries, ensuring they are either delivered to the intended recipients or securely held as requested. Keeping accurate records is critical, particularly managing the sign in and sign out logs for issuance of community keys and gate passes to maintain controlled access to different areas within the community. Team collaboration is highly valued, and the assistant will regularly support other departments with administrative tasks, helping the overall operation to run smoothly. Responding to resident, family, and employee concerns with timeliness and sensitivity is a vital aspect of the role, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing exceptional customer satisfaction and quality service. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism and a positive attitude at all times, consistently demonstrating kindness, engagement, and empathy toward residents, visitors, and co-workers. This role offers a meaningful opportunity for individuals who take pride in contributing to a caring community and enjoy working in an environment that values mutual respect and teamwork.
