In the role of Cashier, you will be a vital part of the front-end team, responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a friendly and personalized service. Your responsibilities will extend beyond cashier duties, potentially including roles such as sales assistant, merchandiser, or stock associate to support store operations. You will work closely with store management to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to alcohol sales. This position requires a flexible schedule accommodating evenings and weekends based on business needs. Training in product knowledge, particularly in wine, spirits, and beer, will be part of your development to enhance customer interactions. The role demands physical stamina as it involves being on your feet for long periods, bending, lifting, and occasionally working in outdoor conditions. • Must be 21 years of age or older
• Walk bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of work experience with 1 plus years in a retail setting preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires including evenings and weekends
