The Manager, Airport Duty Manager Operations role at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport is a vital leadership position within the Airport Duty Managers organization. This full-time, regular employment opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $138,518 to $187,408, commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience and responsibility level. The role centers on leading and managing the Airport Duty Managers (ADMs) team to ensure seamless continuity of airport operations across various departments including Landside, Terminal, Airfield, Cargo, and Safety Management System disciplines. As the Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the ADM program, promoting operational efficiency, public safety, and security, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and Port regulations. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. You should be able to navigate sensitive and stressful situations with tact and diplomacy and inspire your team to work towards shared goals that align with the Port’s mission. A commitment to applying equity and fostering an inclusive culture is essential, alongside the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and with external agencies. Candidates must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one and must be able to work primarily in an office environment with occasional duties on the airfield. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility and availability during emergencies.
