The role of Scheduling Specialist at FlightSafety International is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between the company and its internal and external customers. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills to manage the complete scheduling oversight of training programs. The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for managing training schedules, coordinating regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong communication channels with customers and internal teams. This role involves interacting with various stakeholders including customers, instructors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate regulatory and operator training requirements efficiently. The Scheduling Specialist helps ensure that all training objectives are met in keeping with FAA/NAA regulations, while also offering additional training options to enhance the learning experience and support sales growth. The role serves as a critical point of contact and often involves guiding customers through complex scheduling needs, verifying pre-training documentation, and managing client retention. To be successful as a Scheduling Specialist, candidates should be well-versed in aviation terminology, scheduling systems, and regulatory guidelines. They need to exhibit strong organizational, communication, and customer service capabilities, alongside adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment. • Bachelor's degree in Business or Aviation Management preferred or related field experience
• three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
• one to two years of aviation experience preferred
• knowledge of aviation industry terminology and FAA/NAA regulations
• excellent customer service skills
• proficiency with scheduling software
• detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• ability to work under minimal supervision
• adaptability to changing environments
• fluency in English
• familiarity with MS Office and CRM software
