The Campus Concierge Graduate Assistant role is a unique opportunity for graduate students to gain valuable experience while contributing to the HPU community. This position focuses on delivering first-class customer service, acting as an ambassador for the university, and providing essential support to students, faculty, staff, and families. Graduate Assistants will develop skills in leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and professional speaking. The role involves engaging with the community through various channels including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails, and social media platforms like Facebook. Additionally, Graduate Assistants are responsible for managing a team of student employees, guiding them through challenging situations, ensuring task prioritization, and maintaining communication while serving as the Manager on Duty. Working hours are flexible, designed to accommodate class schedules, and the position offers a starting pay rate of $12.00 per hour with eligibility for rehire on a semester basis. The trainee will gain expertise in Microsoft Office products and experience handling customer inquiries both online and in person at multiple campus locations such as the Slane/Wanek Student Centers, Cottrell Hall, the Team Store & Panther Boutique, or Panther Commons.   • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
