The Busser plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the flow and quality of the dining experience by resetting tables quickly and attentively. Equipped with tools like a spray bottle, sturdy tray, and clean cloth towel, the ideal Busser acts efficiently, cleaning and resetting tables in less than three minutes to ensure a smooth seating process for incoming guests. They serve as vital communicators between servers, hosts, and guests by signaling table readiness and assisting with other essential duties that keep the restaurant clean and well-organized. The role requires excellent communication skills and teamwork. The Busser also attends to light housekeeping tasks, roll silverware, and maintains restroom cleanliness to uphold the establishment’s high standards for hygiene and customer satisfaction. This position never involves night shifts, aligning with First Watch’s commitment to a balanced work-life environment.
