The role of Sales Lead at RNDC is a dynamic and integral position responsible for proactively advancing and securing sales within a designated territory. As a Sales Lead, individuals are entrusted with servicing existing customer accounts while strategically pursuing incremental business growth through informed and consultative selling techniques. The position requires strong client interaction skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to educate clients on the most suitable products for their needs. Sales Leads represent the voice of the customer and frequently visit accounts to provide personalized service with the aim to maximize revenue potential. The role also involves developing individual sales plans tailored to customer needs and geographic considerations, setting comprehensive selling plans that support client strategies, goals, and objectives. Sales Leads ensure that all customer orders are promptly and accurately fulfilled and may be responsible for merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and building displays in the absence of a dedicated support representative. Professional development in sales skills and product knowledge is a continuous part of the role, along with the readiness to participate in promotional activities that may occur during nights and weekends. This position typically requires a minimum of a one-year certificate from college or technical school, although a four-year degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least 3 to 6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent blend of education and experience. A valid state driver’s license and the ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements are essential since the role entails frequent travel within the assigned territory. Strong client skills and a solid understanding of customer needs are critical for success in this position.
