The role also encompasses routine activities such as assisting customers, promoting the company’s rewards program and other initiatives, handling all sales transactions accurately through the POS terminal, and controlling cash securely while maintaining precise documentation. Furthermore, employees will participate in physical inventory counts, assist with receiving and shipping merchandise, and uphold loss prevention awareness to protect company assets. A successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and coworkers at all levels. Basic communication, math, and organizational skills are essential, along with experience in retail sales—preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
