This opportunity is for a Safety Manager role based in Golden, CO, offered as a 1099 contract position. The role entails working approximately 48 hours per week from Monday to Saturday with a 2-week turnaround every 3 weeks, starting on November 6. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing retrofit projects within a manufacturing facility, making this a critical position that helps ensure workplace safety and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. The candidate will work closely with various trades, general contractors, and subcontractors to communicate and enforce safety standards effectively. The successful applicant will have prior experience in Safety Management, specifically managing retrofit projects. BCSP (Board of Certified Safety Professionals) certifications are preferred, and the OSHA-30 certification is mandatory for site presence. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections and orientations, delivering safety training as needed, monitoring worksite employees to ensure adherence to best safety practices, managing documentation and contractor correspondence, and performing other environmental health and safety (EHS) activities within the scope of their skills and authorizations. This role plays a pivotal part in promoting safe work environments, preventing accidents, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
