This opportunity is for a Room Service Server, a critical role in delivering the highest levels of guest service within the hospitality industry. The role involves working in White Lodging’s portfolio of award-winning hotels and providing exemplary food and beverage service directly to guest rooms. Utilizing an advanced scheduling app, this position offers significant flexibility, allowing team members to easily swap or pick up shifts which supports a healthy work-life balance. The Room Service Server will be responsible for ensuring the full guest experience is seamless, from accurate and timely delivery of food and beverage orders to anticipating guest needs with professionalism and friendliness. The server will not only deliver meals and amenities but will also maintain a neat and sanitary appearance of all service items on the floors, uphold the highest standards of personal presentation, and represent the hotel as an ambassador of its hospitality brand. Key to this role is possessing thorough knowledge of hotel services and detailed menu information to confidently and accurately respond to guest inquiries.
This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to handle high-volume work during peak times, and a team-player mindset. While previous experience is preferred, it is not mandatory as the company values a positive attitude and passion for service above all. Physical stamina is essential due to the nature of the work which includes standing for prolonged periods and the availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
