We are currently seeking a dependable and dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is critical in upholding our brand standards by ensuring all guest rooms, hallways, and public areas are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The Room Attendant will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, bed linen changes, and maintaining sanitary bathroom conditions. This position involves both physical activity and close attention to detail, requiring the incumbent to manage their time efficiently to complete daily assignments promptly. The ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including weekends, is essential to accommodate the fluctuating demands of the hospitality business.
As a Room Attendant, the successful candidate will proactively maintain assigned areas and equipment, stock supply carts, and carefully use cleaning products and supplies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. The role demands frequent movement throughout the property, involving standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. Additionally, lifting and carrying objects up to 40 pounds independently, and heavier items with assistance, are common tasks.
Our Room Attendants also play an important role in guest interaction. They are expected to acknowledge and greet guests politely in public spaces, comply with guest requests such as honoring 'do not disturb' signs or providing additional linens and terry, and ensure adherence to guest safety procedures at all times. The role requires clear communication skills to report any safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management promptly. Training participation and adherence to property cleaning procedures are mandatory to maintain consistency and quality across all shifts.
