By making beds, changing linens, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and restocking supplies, you will ensure that every room you service is clean, neat, and attractive. You will also be responsible for maintaining the housekeeping closet and cart area, keeping them organized and ready for efficient daily operations. Being a team player is fundamental, as you will assist coworkers, participate in training new staff, and engage in department events. As an ambassador of housekeeping, you will be the face of cleanliness and hospitality, greeting guests warmly and contributing to their positive impression of our establishment. This position involves medium physical work, which includes lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach is essential, as is the capacity to work under varying temperatures and noise levels. Attention to detail is critical, as you will be expected to polish windows, fold towels correctly, and ensure closets are orderly with the appropriate number of hangers. Safety and security are top priorities; therefore, you will adhere strictly to hotel policies and procedures and communicate effectively with management when issues arise. Standing for long periods and multitasking efficiently are daily requirements.
