The role of Line Service Technician (LST) at Signature Aviation is a vital customer service position responsible for delivering a variety of ground support services that ensure the safety and efficiency of general aviation operations. This role involves the operation of ground service equipment to provide requested services such as fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water, aircraft parking, marshalling, catering delivery, and towing. The LST serves as a frontline representative of the company, working collaboratively with coworkers, customers, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew members to meet customer service needs through effective communication and teamwork. This position requires maintaining a safe, clean, and secure operational environment on airport ramps, as well as driving shuttle vehicles to transport passengers, luggage, and cargo. LSTs are tasked with critical responsibilities including fuel handling, quality control, inventory management, and documentation accuracy. The role demands physical stamina for extensive standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating machinery, often under varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills in English, the ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the capability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • A valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company’s applicable insurance policies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Ability to successfully and timely complete Signature’s training programs
  • Ability to pass a color vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel
  • Ability to use a computer and email, including pass computer-based training modules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and for safety-sensitive tasks, in English
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, angles, degrees, time)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including night, holiday and weekend shifts and in various weather conditions
