The position requires attention to detail in following recipes, maintaining portion control, and presenting beverages attractively. Beyond customer interaction, servers handle point-of-sale operations including processing payments, making change, and maintaining accurate records. Maintaining the cleanliness and setup of the bar and dining area is a key component, along with managing stock and handling fresh garnishes to ensure premium quality. The role demands strict adherence to state, federal, and corporate regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages, emphasizing responsible service to minors and intoxicated guests. • 6 months' experience working in retail or food service environment
• High school diploma preferred
• Verbal and written communication
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders
• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
• Food handlers permit, as required by law
• Brand certification, as required
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
• Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
