The Front of House Manager role at The Pour House in North Wales, PA is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant’s dining area. This role actively supports the General Manager in planning, organizing, and implementing training programs designed to meet the restaurant’s objectives in sales, quality, service, and cleanliness. The Front of House Manager takes a hands-on approach to ensuring all guests receive exceptional, friendly, and efficient service in a positive and productive work environment.
Key responsibilities include supervising front-of-house staff such as servers and hostesses, ensuring compliance with food quality and sanitation standards, managing labor and food costs, and contributing to employee hiring and retention efforts. The manager is expected to be present and engaged on the floor, validating that service consistently meets high standards and stepping in to ensure smooth operations whenever necessary. Additional duties involve cash handling, employee coaching, documentation, scheduling, and collaboration with the General Manager on marketing initiatives. Strict adherence to all health, safety, and labor regulations is mandatory.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $56,000 to $60,000 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports personal and professional well-being. The Pour House is looking for a motivated leader with at least one year of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, ServSafe certification, and strong skills in communication, decision-making, and financial management.
