We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team, responsible for the complete setup and management of the bar area, expertly mixing drinks for all guests and servers. This role requires vigilance in maintaining cleanliness, service standards, and inventory control of liquor. The Bartender will also ensure guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, friendly, and professional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bartending, particularly in high-volume settings, with a minimum of three years of experience. This position demands a person who can multitask efficiently, handle the physical requirements of the role including standing for long periods and lifting moderately heavy objects, and who upholds all state liquor laws. The Bartender will engage with guests courteously and attentively, process payments accurately using the computer system, and contribute to the overall functionality of the bar by performing opening and closing duties and side work. Attention to detail in drink preparation—adhering to portion control and presentation standards—is essential, as is the ability to manage beverage cost effectively. The individual must be capable of following prescribed procedures to manage difficult situations involving intoxicated guests and report accordingly to management when necessary. Additionally, the Bartender will be responsible for keeping the bar and lounge areas clean and stocked, including glassware and garnishes, and ensuring soda tanks are properly maintained. This role requires flexibility regarding working hours and the physical stamina to meet the demands of a busy service environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and legal age requirements for alcohol service according to local laws must be met.
