Currently, Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reservations and Communications Supervisor to join their team. This supervisory role is essential in the smooth operation of the hotel’s reservation and sales processes. The key responsibilities include managing all reservations, coordinating with the sales department on group bookings, resolving complex guest-related situations, preparing and distributing occupancy and revenue forecasts, and ensuring new employees are properly welcomed and trained. This position involves handling a variety of reservation types, including walk-in, internal, and group bookings, while maintaining exceptional customer service standards in line with Four Seasons’ policies. In this role, the Reservations and Communications Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for incoming reservation calls, ensuring all details are accurately captured and documented. They are also responsible for running essential reports, managing email communications related to reservations, addressing guest complaints efficiently, and confirming non-guaranteed bookings. In addition, this role supports the front desk and sales teams in clearing waitlists and handling special requests for VIP guests to ensure a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel reservations and exhibit exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in English, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and strong problem-solving capabilities are critical for success in this role. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts is also required, as the hotel operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
