As a Sales Assistant, Customer Operations at RXO (formerly Coyote Logistics), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and efficiency of customer accounts. This role demands a blend of strong operational skills and customer relationship management, with the primary focus on load management, scheduling, and maintaining high service quality standards. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, providing spot rates and cost calculations, and seeking new business opportunities through various types of agreements including spot, project, or annual contracts. Your duties will include entering load information, tracking shipments, scheduling appointments, and coordinating closely with warehouses and customers to ensure seamless operations from pickup through delivery.
In this position, excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will be the liaison between customers, sales teams, and carrier operations. You will handle any shipment issues proactively and keep all parties informed on the status and resolution of freight movements. Furthermore, accuracy in data entry within the Transportation Management System (TMS) and supporting accounting processes is essential for maintaining operational integrity and financial accuracy. As part of your daily responsibilities, prioritizing workload and managing multiple tasks efficiently will directly impact the profitability and growth of the accounts you support.
The position offers a starting salary in the range of $40,000 to $45,000, supplemented by commission opportunities, reflecting the value RXO places on performance and customer satisfaction.
