The role being offered is that of a Ramp Agent, a critical position responsible for the hands-on management of passenger luggage, air cargo, and aircraft servicing on the tarmac. This role is essential to ensuring that flights depart promptly and safely while providing superior customer care. The Ramp Agent will be tasked with various responsibilities including loading and unloading aircraft, operating specialized airport equipment, and protecting customers' belongings from any form of harm, theft, or loss. The position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with pilots and ground teams. This full-time position demands adherence to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including completing ramp and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) training. The Ramp Agent role is physically demanding and requires the ability to frequently lift and move heavy items, work in diverse weather conditions, and operate various motorized equipment such as belt loaders, pushback tugs, and lavatory carts. In addition to manual labor, the position involves careful documentation and the use of company information systems to record action taken during shifts. This role demands local residency, a valid driver’s license, and a clean background check.   • must be able to lift/carry/push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
  • must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
  • must be able to work in cramped or high places
  • must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs
  • high school diploma or GED
