The responsibilities include overseeing safety leadership, developing and refining safety programs, policies, and procedures, and standardizing safety protocols across multiple accounts to ensure consistency. This manager acts as the primary safety resource for division operations and leadership, helping to build a robust safety culture that aligns with regulatory requirements such as OSHA, FDA, USDA, and EPA standards. A core focus includes managing a team of safety professionals, recruiting, training, and driving accountability to enhance safety performance across the division. The role demands strong incident response capabilities, including leading investigations, reviewing corrective actions, and reporting safety data to senior leadership. Another essential aspect of this position involves training and engagement, supporting division safety training efforts, promoting hazard identification, and encouraging safe behavior among employees.
