The role of Utility Associate at Blanco Tacos & Tequila under HMSHost is a vital position focused on maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall operational efficiency of the restaurant. This non-exempt position includes various responsibilities such as cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots, and pans using specific chemicals to uphold sanitary standards. The Utility Associate ensures that all kitchen and service areas remain safe, clean, and well-stocked by checking ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas, and CO2 containers, replacing them as necessary. Additionally, this role involves loading and unloading supply trucks and handling other assigned duties directed by management. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and security protocols, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds and frequent hand immersion in water and chemical solutions.
