The role of the Receptionist at Leonard Florence Center for Living is pivotal in managing the dynamic and bustling lobby and reception area. This position is a part-time opportunity with shifts available for both first and second shifts, offering flexible work hours to accommodate different schedules. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, including residents, their families, vendors, and applicants, and plays a crucial role in maintaining a professional, welcoming, and secure environment. Responsibilities extend beyond greeting; the Receptionist oversees building security by managing sign-in and security alarm procedures, ensuring every visitor is accounted for. The role requires operating a multi-line switchboard, efficiently directing telephone calls to appropriate departments or personnel. Administrative duties such as calendar management, mass mailings, and handling company deliveries are also integral parts of the job. Additionally, the Receptionist supports the facility's social environment by assisting with resident leisure activities and staying vigilant about resident safety, immediately reporting concerns to relevant staff. - Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
