The position available is for a Front Office Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions within the facility. The Front Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Administrator, Office Manager, Director of Nursing, and Activity Director, while also serving as the first point of contact for residents, family members, and potential clients. This role requires excellent communication skills as well as a customer-service-oriented attitude to effectively interact with diverse groups of people.
The successful candidate will handle various office duties that range from answering phones and directing callers to appropriate departments, greeting visitors warmly, and ensuring that the environment’s professionalism is maintained at all times. This role also includes coordinating communication between departments concerning events, vendors, guest visits, and outside service providers. The Front Office Assistant will be expected to manage administrative tasks such as typing, filing, mail distribution, and assisting with inquiries and tours for prospective residents.
Moreover, the candidate will follow marketing guidelines when responding to phone inquiries and conducting guided tours, ensuring that potential clients receive accurate and friendly information. The role also involves accepting rental payments and issuing receipts when requested.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Desire and willingness to learn new systems
 - Prior work in reception or customer service preferred
 - Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions necessary to accomplish job and communicate effectively
 - Strong organizational skills, detail oriented but flexible to accommodate fluctuating facility needs
 - Knowledge of computer operations including Microsoft Office
 - Ability to represent the facility positively and professionally
 - Ability to work effectively in individual or team setting
