We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This role is vital as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience upon arrival. The Front Desk Receptionist will collaborate closely with staff and physicians to perform a variety of administrative tasks, all while maintaining professionalism and a courteous demeanor. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, collecting patient identification and insurance information, updating patient accounts, and handling co-payments and deductibles with accuracy. Additionally, the receptionist will record payments in the billing system and manage other general administrative duties as required.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities to juggle a diverse set of responsibilities efficiently in a dynamic healthcare setting. Strong communication skills, particularly in English, are essential, along with basic computer proficiency and telephone etiquette. Preference will be given to applicants with at least one year of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or multi-specialty ASC environments. A high school diploma or GED is a minimum educational requirement for this position.
