The position of Concierge at Hillcrest Firethorn is a crucial role within the community, designed for individuals who excel as team players and possess strong phone and computer skills. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to efficiently manage phone calls, greet customers warmly, provide directions internally, and support the Bistro as needed. The Concierge is essentially the welcoming face of the community, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring that calls and inquiries are handled smoothly and effectively. This role works every other weekend, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for additional working hours. The Concierge's duties include answering telephones with professionalism and direct calls appropriately, managing office supplies by tracking, ordering, and distributing them, and maintaining office equipment to ensure it receives timely regular and unexpected maintenance. Additionally, clerical support tasks such as typing, faxing, filing, and placing or receiving calls are required on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
