The position of Part Time Dining Room Server at SageLife offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of senior residents on a daily basis. The role involves providing attentive and courteous food and beverage service, ensuring residents and guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Servers at SageLife are responsible for preparing dining areas by setting tables neatly with linens, silverware, and glassware in preparation for meals. During service, they answer menu-related questions and make thoughtful recommendations to enhance residents’ meals. After dining, the servers clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. The job also includes general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, tidying server stations, and waste removal to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the dining environment. Additionally, servers assist with special events and social hours, contributing to the community’s vibrant social life. Employees must maintain all current state and facility-required annual trainings, incorporating both health and safety protocols and quality service practices. The role requires physical stamina including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, walk stairs, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential since the server must connect positively with residents, guests, and team members. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred to enhance safety preparedness.
