Candidates must be willing to work at all schools within the county, providing flexibility and support wherever needed. The Substitute Cook will also be expected to participate in required training programs, including annual state and county cook tests to obtain and maintain a valid food handler's card. The daily rate for this position is $128.70, falling under Pay Grade B, and compensation is based on experience and education level according to the Monroe County Board of Education salary schedule. The salary package includes a competitive benefits provision valued at approximately 35 percent of direct compensation, making it a rewarding employment opportunity.
