The role involves thorough cleaning of assigned guest rooms, ensuring they meet departmental and company standards. Responsibilities include changing bed linens, replenishing bath linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom fixtures, and restocking room amenities like tissues and soaps. Maintaining the security of guest rooms and their contents is a critical aspect of the role, ensuring that guests enjoy a safe and pleasant stay. Additionally, the position requires staff to keep the supply cart stocked with necessary cleaning materials, keep room statuses updated through proper departmental paperwork, and communicate any repair needs promptly to the housekeeping office. Guest satisfaction is paramount; therefore, handling guest requests efficiently and courteously is a key part of the job. This role supports the smooth operation of Boyd Gaming's hospitality services, contributing directly to an exceptional guest experience and upholding the company’s reputation for quality accommodations and service.

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
ability to adhere to company cleaning and safety standards
strong attention to detail
