The role of Quality Manager at West Star Aviation is pivotal in upholding and enhancing the quality assurance standards that distinguish the company. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Director, the Quality Manager is entrusted with the overall leadership and management of the Quality Department. This position holds the final authority regarding the release to service of critical aerospace components including airframes, engines, propellers, appliances, and their associated parts. With a responsibility to ensure all work meets stringent inspection criteria, the Quality Manager oversees compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturer specifications, and technical recommendations. This management role requires a detailed understanding of inspection methods, calibration procedures, and the strict enforcement of documentation standards. As a key leader within the organization, the Quality Manager is expected to supervise and mentor quality department personnel, nurturing a team environment that champions collaboration and continuous professional development. The manager steers hiring and disciplinary processes, while regularly conducting performance evaluations to promote excellence and accountability.
