The Public Areas Attendant role within Limelight Hotels is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public and employee areas within the hotel facility. This includes lobbies, restrooms, meeting rooms, restaurants, and any other designated public spaces. The hourly pay range for this full-time position is between $19.00 and $22.80, depending on budget allocation and candidate experience. The position involves a detailed daily routine encompassing dusting, cleaning windows, replenishing magazines, reporting maintenance issues, and fulfilling guest requests such as setting up rollaway beds or baby cribs. This role requires the use of specialized commercial cleaning chemicals and equipment, adherence to OSHA safety standards, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills are important, as attendants may need to interact politely and professionally with hotel guests.
