The Pastry Sous Chef role at Montage represents a unique opportunity to join a team where your culinary passion and leadership skills will drive outstanding pastry experiences. This position involves co-managing inventory, equipment, and all pastry-related items for events and restaurants within the hotel, ensuring quality control and adherence to health and safety standards. You will work closely with the Pastry Chef to prepare order sheets, manage stock levels, and support team scheduling and payroll. The role also includes overseeing the production flow of pastry items, coordinating the delivery of the hotel's amenity program, and participating in Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings. The ideal candidate is a passionate pastry professional with exceptional leadership abilities, capable of working independently and as part of a team while prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks efficiently. A minimum of two years of pastry experience, ideally within a luxury hotel environment, is preferred.
